Security Estimator – SheffieldFull-time | Permanent | Up to £50, + benefitsI’m working with a global Security & Technology business in Sheffield who are looking to bring a Security Estimator into their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong experience in security estimating who wants to join an innovative, technically strong environment with a healthy mix of office work and onsite presence.About the RoleAs the Security Estimator, you’ll split your time between the Sheffield office and visiting sites across the region. You’ll be responsible for producing accurate, commercially sound estimates and specifications for projects covering CCTV, security systems, access control and intercom solutions.This is a key role in the wider project lifecycle, working closely with Project Managers, Coordinators, and the Warehouse team to ensure materials, budgets and timelines are aligned from start to finish.Key ResponsibilitiesDesigning, estimating and producing full job specifications for security-related projectsCarrying out site visits to assess requirements and sign off completed worksReporting on the financial performance of projectsCoordinating with internal teams including Project Managers, Coordinators and WarehouseForwardplanning material supply and placing orders accordinglyEnsuring all work is carried out with a customercentric approachMaintaining strong technical knowledge of modern security and access control technologiesWhat We’re Looking ForTo be successful in this position, previous experience within security estimating is essential.
