Role Summary

Band 7 Infant Feeding and Weight Management Lead to join the Brent 0–19 Service Inner Public Health Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide many infant feeding clinics weekly across the borough to support local families.
• Provide a specialist breastfeeding clinic for mothers requiring additional specialist support.
• Support mothers and families across Brent with early support during the ‘preparing for feeding’ antenatal phase and the postnatal period.
• Work alongside the health visiting team to enhance clinical pathways to local families.
• Contribute to infant feeding and weight management initiatives within the public health strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong public health focus, with commitment to improving health and wellbeing of a diverse school‑aged population.
• Highly motivated with an interest in proactively managing health promotion initiatives and supporting children to adopt healthy lifestyle habits.
• Band 7 nursing qualification and relevant experience.
