Responsibilities
- Act as a point of contact and information centre for staff and visitors.
- Provide clear, concise information to visitors and callers via person, phone or email.
- Report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager.
- Maintain a professional manner at all times.
- Respond promptly to emergencies.
- Deal with conflict appropriately when required.
- Write up incidents to the standard expected by management.
- Carry out ID checks.
- Remain vigilant to health and safety risks.
- Work on own initiative.
- Ensure that the reception area, foyer, staff area, and boardroom are kept clean by supervising cleaning staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and professional environment.
- Maintain a high level of security while coordinating with colleagues.
Qualifications
- Valid SIA licence.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer (minimum 1 year).
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Experience within corporate security (minimum 1 year).
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
- Ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports.
- Resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Proficiency in IT systems and multitasking.
Pay & Schedule
Pay rate: £14.85 per hour. Shift pattern: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 21:00. Location: London W1S 1JD.
