An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Scrub Practitioner to work in an exceptional private hospital next to Central London. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care providers. This is one of the UKs largest independent hospitals, dedicated to delivering excellence in aesthetic and surgical care. To be considered for this position you must be an RGN with a valid NMC Pin – we will also accept ODPs with HCPC registrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe care to patients in the post‑operative phase of care.
  • Support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Theatre.
  • Lead scrubbing procedures and care during the peri‑operative stage of a patient’s care.
  • Use evidence‑based clinical knowledge to provide the utmost standard of care to all patients.
  • Use equipment and team‑oriented approach to all cases.

Preferred and Beneficial Skills and Experience

  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Significant post registration skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge base of theatre practice.
  • Experience in orthopaedics.
  • Experience in a wide variety of surgeries.
  • Hold Surgical First Assistant qualification.
  • Specialist knowledge of operating theatre care.
  • The ability to communicate with clarity and intelligibility in both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to build rapport, listen, persuade and negotiate.
  • Flexibility to change shifts when department needs change.

Salary and Benefits

The successful Senior Scrub Practitioner will receive a salary of GBP 45,000 – GBP 51,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full‑time role working 37.5 hours a week. You will enjoy the following generous benefits:
