Responsibilities
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the general maintenance of the property, the upkeep of its facilities, and the management of the maintenance team. The role ensures jobs are completed efficiently to meet guest expectations. Key duties include allocating responsibilities to the team, completing daily job lists and preventive maintenance schedules, meeting time deadlines, liaising with contractors, and taking responsibility for health and safety on the property.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a maintenance department of a hotel of similar quality.
- Knowledge of electrics and health and safety principles.
- Computer literacy for compliance and audit purposes.
- Excellent organisation, communication and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Hands‑on management style.
