Support Worker / Team Leader Live-In

Responsibilities

• Live-in shifts: 4 days on / 4 days off
• Team Leader responsibilities: 10 additional hours per week
• Supporting with daily living activities
• Encouraging and facilitating social outings and hobbies
• Promoting independence while ensuring safety and wellbeing
• Providing emotional support and companionship
• Leading and supporting the wider care team (Team Leader element)

Qualifications

• Liaising with family members and professionals as required
• Motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care
• Patient and an excellent communicator
• Resilient and able to remain calm and professional in a variety of situations
• Confident in building positive, respectful working relationships
• Able to engage in light‑hearted conversation while maintaining appropriate boundaries
• Experience supporting individuals with brain injuries is desirable but not essential (full training can be provided for the right candidate)
