Job Description:

Purpose

This is a full-time administrator role in a financial adviser practice in the East of Belfast, supporting 2 advisers.

We are looking for a motivated, experienced financial services administrator/paraplanner to provide full back office support.

Responsibilities

  • Obtaining accurate policy information and preparation of data for client meetings
  • Manage with provider application process from submission to completion, maintaining communication with all parties
  • Preparation of correspondence including letters and emails to clients
  • Preparation of client review letters and reports for approval by the Financial Adviser and prepare of accompanying documentation as required
  • Drafting of simple new business reports of clients for approval by the Financial Adviser
  • Uploading case documentation for compliance checking onto our CRM, Intelligent Office
  • Answering the phone
  • Scan incoming post
  • General admin duties as required
  • Ad hoc client projects

Knowledge

  • A good level of relevant experience in Financial Services, minimum 2 years
  • Previous experience of Intelligent Office an advantage

Qualifications

  • You may have relevant qualifications e.g. Financial Administration etc
  • You may be studying the Chartered Insurance Institute RO examinations

Skills/Other relevant information

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with both adviser and client queries to ensure a consistent standard of service
  • Eye for detail to maintain accuracy on client records
  • Strong Microsoft office skills – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Possess strong organisation skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
