Our client is seeking a Manager to lead complex cases within their Disputes & Investigations practice. This senior role sits at the centre of litigation, arbitration, and regulatory work. You will direct high-stakes investigations, manage teams, and work closely with counsel and leadership to deliver fact development that meets evidentiary and strategic standards.

This is a hands-on position suited to an experienced investigator who thrives under pressure, balances strategic oversight with detailed execution, and communicates effectively with legal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Complex Investigations

  • Manage high-profile disputes involving litigation, arbitration, regulatory inquiries, and internal investigations.
  • Develop tailored strategies aligned with legal timelines and client objectives.
  • Direct source interviews, asset tracing, document reviews, and intelligence gathering.
  • Produce client-ready reports for law firms, general counsel, and arbitration panels.

Innovate Processes & Methods

  • Apply and refine investigative tools such as source vetting, event chronologies, and evidentiary documentation.
  • Improve workflows to ensure efficiency in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
  • Uphold investigative rigor and accuracy in adversarial settings.

Client & Case Management

  • Serve as a primary client contact on disputes-related matters.
  • Oversee investigative timelines, staffing, and alignment with counsel strategy.
  • Advise clients on risks, fact gaps, and jurisdictional nuances.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Mentor junior staff and case managers in source development, document analysis, and legal writing.
  • Share best practices on cross-border risks, evidentiary standards, and litigation-driven investigations.
  • Strengthen team capacity for fast-evolving disputes assignments.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Strong experience in managing complex investigations in legal, regulatory, or financial contexts; disputes/litigation experience strongly preferred.
  • Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with evidentiary standards, litigation workflows, and cross-border jurisdictional issues.
  • Leadership: Proven record mentoring and developing investigative teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Track record of delivering precise, error-free reports.
  • Research & Analysis: Advanced skills with research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER) and ability to synthesise large data sets into clear insights.
