If you’re in Transaction Services and looking for a role where you’ll actually run workstreams rather than just support them, this could be worth a look.
I’m working with a well-regarded London Transaction Services team on Manager level hire, ideal for an Assistant Manager looking to move up or a Manager with c. 1-2 years’ experience.
The role
You’ll be delivering financial due diligence on lower-to-mid-market M&A transactions – both buy-side and sell-side, predominantly PE-backed, and with a strong ongoing deal flow. There’s also exposure to capital markets work. You’ll take ownership of key analytical workstreams, manage client relationships day-to-day, and support junior team members.
What they’re looking for
- ACA qualified (or equivalent)
- C. 2-4 years in Transaction Services for the Manager level, or c. 1-2 years for the Assistant Manager. If you have less TS experience than this but have also had experience in Valuations and/or Forensics then this could also be of interest
- Capital Markets (due diligence) exposure would be a bonus, but not a prerequisite
- Someone who’s genuinely interested in TS as a discipline and wants to develop their career in a supportive team with big plans for growth
- Ready to take more responsibility and ownership than your current role allows
About the team
The team are busy, consistently so, and exceeded targets at financial year-end. The culture is collaborative and people-focused, quick progression is achievable for high achievers, and there’s a clear path for progression. If you’re at a firm where deal flow is limited, the team is large and hierarchical, or you’re simply not getting enough client exposure, this is a meaningful step up.
If any of this resonates, feel free to apply or message me directly — happy to have a straightforward conversation about whether it’s relevant for you.
