National (Edinburgh and Leeds) £43,100-£55,000; London £47,300-£60,000 (based on skills and experience)

Associate Level 8 – Regulatory

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver casework related to Errors and Omissions in UK MiFID / EMIR / SFTR reporting.
  • Work with industry to oversee firm‑specific remediation programmes.
  • Respond to industry queries on the reporting regimes.
  • Targeted supervisory work for firms or areas of specific strategic interest.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders of these datasets.
  • Provide exposure to regulatory market data and insight into its use to support FCA investigations and decision‑making.

Minimum Skills Required

  • Experience with casework and case management systems.
  • Experience engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interest in a role offering exposure to wholesale financial markets data.

Essential

  • Clear written and oral communication skills, with ability to explain complex, technical matters clearly and succinctly to a range of audiences.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with capacity to work collaboratively and engage a range of stakeholders.
  • Sound judgement, with the ability to make clear and timely decisions and recommendations based on input from data and intelligence.
