Overview
Role within the Submarine Naval Architecture team, part of the Naval Authority & Technology Group, focusing on submarine Propulsor. The team develops standards, guidance, and R&D for safe and capable vessels.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Naval Architect qualified (masters level or equivalent experience)
- Experience of Submarine hydrodynamics
- Experience of ship or submarine propulsion (including V&V techniques)
Desired Experience & Skills
- Knowledge of acoustic theory and measurement techniques
- CEng and/or MRINA
Additional Requirements
- Must be eligible for access to SUKEO data.
- DV clearance highly desirable.
Working Arrangements
Hybrid and flexible working can be considered for this post but will need regular workplace attendance to access SECRET information.
