Our client operates an extensive network of depots and is highly regarded as an industry leader in their sector. The role will cover multiple locations, primarily within Hampshire and surrounding counties.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading team recruitment, retention, development and training initiatives
- Managing operations across all sites through strong engagement and effective communication with both staff and customers
- Driving productivity through data analysis and informed decision-making to minimise inefficiencies and underperformance
- Overseeing freight budget management, using performance data to meet KPIs and support business growth
- Ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting internal audits, overseeing maintenance programmes and upholding product quality standards
Requirements
- Hold a current Certificate of Professional Competence in National Road Haulage Operations – essential
- Experience with modern vehicle technologies – essential
- Demonstrable experience in managing transport operations and dangerous goods operations – essential
- Strong organisational and planning skills with proven ability to deliver – essential
- High level of computer literacy and data analysis skills – essential
- Ability to demonstrate strong, influential communication skills – essential
