Job Description:

Graduate Recruitment Consultant

Are you a 2025 or 2026 graduate ready to build a career with real commercial edge?

Factor Search is a specialist executive search firm working with some of the most ambitious companies in defence, deep tech, aerospace, space, and advanced manufacturing. We’re growing and looking for a driven graduate to join our team in Leeds.

About Factor

We’re a boutique search firm that operates at the senior end of the market, placing executives and leaders into businesses backed by private equity and venture capital, or scaling independently across the UK, US, and APAC. We’re not a high-volume generalist agency. We work on complex, high-value mandates where quality and judgement matter.

The Role

You’ll work directly alongside experienced consultants on live searches from day one. That means real responsibility early, not months of shadowing.

You’ll learn to:

  • Research and map candidate markets across specialist sectors
  • Source and approach senior professionals through LinkedIn and direct outreach
  • Conduct screening calls and produce written candidate assessments
  • Support client management and search delivery end to end
  • Develop your own market knowledge and build a commercial pipeline over time

Who We’re Looking For

  • 2025 or 2026 graduate (any discipline)
  • Commercially curious with strong written and verbal communication
  • Organised, self-starting, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Interested in business, technology, or defence and industrial sectors
  • Motivated by earning potential and career progression

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
  • Direct mentorship from the founder
  • Fast progression based on merit, not tenure
  • A genuinely interesting client and candidate base in high-growth sectors
