Electrical Engineer – Day Shift

Location: Dungannon, Co. Tyrone

Salary: Around £48,000

About the Role

We’re looking for two experienced Electrical Engineers to join a busy, modern food manufacturing facility. You’ll work on day shift, maintaining and improving production machinery and site services, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across machinery and site services
• Diagnose and repair faults on LV/HV systems, control panels, and automated equipment
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise disruption to production
• Perform PAT testing, routine inspections, and electrical safety checks in line with legislation and company policy
• Follow lock-out / tag-out procedures and maintain high safety standards
• Support continuous improvement and equipment upgrades
• Complete maintenance records, logs, and handovers accurately
• Work closely with production, engineering, and management teams to keep operations running efficiently

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

• Recognised electrical qualification (or time-served apprenticeship)
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills on machinery and control systems
• Safety-focused, with strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Experience in FMCG or food production
• Knowledge of automated production systems
