Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing Law Firm following a major restructure, helping to shape and build a modern security function across infrastructure, cloud, and operations.

You will:

Work across a broad and modern security stack including Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Sentinel, Mimecast, and Palo Alto, gaining deep hands-on exposure to leading technologies.

Play a key role in large-scale Azure migration projects, ensuring security is embedded as the organisation evolves its cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage security engineering and incidents end-to-end, from detection through to response and remediation.
  • Work hands-on with security tooling including Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Sentinel, Mimecast, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Support and secure large-scale Azure migrations, implementing best practices across cloud environments.
  • Configure and manage Azure security policies and controls.
  • Collaborate across Network Ops, Cloud Ops, and Security Ops teams to strengthen overall security posture.
  • Contribute to the development and maturity of the security engineering function.
  • Support the onboarding and optimisation of new security tools and processes.

Skills/Must Have:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Cyber Security Engineering or Security Operations
  • Solid experience working in Azure environments, including policies and security controls
  • Proven experience handling security incidents in a hands-on capacity
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work across multiple technical domains

Salary:

  • 70,000 – 80,000 (depending on experience)
