IT Applications Analyst – London (Hybrid) – Permanent
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an IT Applications Analyst to join a leading law firm on a permeant basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system maintenance, patching, upgrades, and configuration changes
- Manage user access controls and conduct access reviews
- Monitor system health and performance; troubleshoot and resolve incidents
- Support application integrations and ensure system stability
- Remediate vulnerabilities and support security and compliance activities
- Maintain documentation and contribute to process improvements
- Track and report on performance, uptime, and operational KPIs
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend automation or enhancements
- Support deployments, testing, and scheduled operational tasks
Key Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years’ experience in enterprise application support or IT operations
- Experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and monitoring tools
- Knowledge of access management, patch management, and vulnerability remediation processes
- Familiarity with ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management)
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience with documentation and knowledge base tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in team environments
- Experience in professional services, legal, or financial environments preferred
- Exposure to application performance tuning, cloud platforms, or scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation preferred
