Job Description:

A respected multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Faade Consultant to lead and develop their Northern faade consultancy offering from their Manchester office. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Associate Faade Consultant with strong technical expertise in faade systems, cladding remediation and fire safety compliance to step into a senior leadership role within a growing national team.

The successful Associate Faade Consultant will play a key role in overseeing regional project delivery, mentoring consultants and supporting the continued growth of the faade and fire safety division.

The Associate Faade Consultant’s Role

The appointed Associate Faade Consultant will lead faade and cladding remediation projects across high-risk residential and mixed-use developments throughout the North of England and wider UK.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a regional faade consultancy team
  • Overseeing faade remediation and external wall compliance projects
  • Managing technical reviews, contractor audits and design assessments
  • Supporting Building Safety Act and PAS9980 compliance matters
  • Carrying out site inspections and quality assurance reviews
  • Working closely with project management, surveying and fire consultancy teams
  • Managing client relationships and supporting business development activity
  • Providing technical leadership across cladding replacement schemes and live remediation works

The Associate Faade Consultant

The successful Associate Faade Consultant should ideally have:

  • 10+ years’ experience within faade consultancy, engineering or construction
  • Strong knowledge of cladding systems, faade design and remediation works
  • Experience working on high-risk buildings and Gateway processes
  • Excellent understanding of Building Regulations and fire safety legislation
  • Membership with a relevant professional body such as RICS, CABE, IFE or similar
  • Strong commercial awareness and leadership capability
  • Excellent report writing and stakeholder management skills
