We’re working with a friendly and collaborative International Law Firm, who are seeking an experienced Legal Sector HR Manager/HRBP to join their welcoming and high-performing HR function.
This role will combine being an experienced Senior HR Generalist alongside requiring someone with passion for Wellbeing as they will be responsible for managing and driving forward Wellbeing within the firm, as well as having oversight of company Benefits.
The individual will report into a very personable and experienced Senior HR Manager and will in turn lead a HR team of 4.
Duties will include:
- Lead, mentor and support HR team, helping to cultivate a collaborative, engaged and high‑performing HR function.
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, managing specific practice areas with the firm.
- Shape and deliver the Wellbeing agenda across the UK and Europe, leading campaigns, events and mental health initiatives that promote a healthy, supportive working environment.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of UK benefits, ensuring accurate administration, clear communication and a smooth experience for employees and partners.
- Drive the annual benefits review process, working closely with brokers and vendors to monitor usage, evaluate market trends and recommend enhancements.
- Manage compensation‑related activities, including benchmarking surveys, Workday data accuracy, and preparation of salary review documentation.
- Provide generalist HR support to designated practice groups, advising on complex ER matters, development needs, staffing decisions and day‑to‑day people queries.
- Review, evolve and streamline HR processes, ensuring they remain efficient, compliant and aligned with best practice.
- Contribute to firmwide HR projects and ad‑hoc initiatives, playing an active role in advancing the overall HR strategy.
This role requires experience of working within a Legal Sector HR function, a history of managing HR staff, a passion for Wellbeing and an understanding of annual Benefits process.
