Salary: Up to £70,000 (DOE) + Registration bonus

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Overview

We are supporting a forward‑thinking, innovative children’s residential provider who are seeking a strong Registered Manager to oversee a 1 bed EBD home in Runcorn. This is a great opportunity to lead an established service within a dynamic and supportive organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Leading the day‑to‑day management of a 1‑bed EBD children’s home.
• Ensuring each young person has an individualized care plan reflecting their emotional, educational, social, cultural, therapeutic and health needs.
• Regularly reviewing and updating placement plans.
• Allocating Key Workers and overseeing the effective delivery of care plans.
• Building strong working relationships with families, carers, local authorities and external professionals.
• Overseeing budgets and ensuring cost‑effective service delivery.
• Ensuring staffing levels and staff competencies meet the needs of the young people.
• Ensuring all new staff receive a full induction and ongoing personal development plan.
• Maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation, regulations and best practice in residential childcare.
• Providing strong leadership, professional supervision and support to the staff team.
