Gas Engineer

Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a long-established and highly respected organisation in their search for a Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to join their growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing domestic heating systems, working alongside experienced engineers, contract managers, and technical supervisors to deliver a high-quality service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and breakdown repairs on domestic heating systems
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
• Work with leading boiler brands including Vaillant and Worcester Bosch
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Participate in an on-call rota

About You

• Proven experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer
• Confident carrying out servicing and breakdown work independently
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications & Requirements

• Full ACS qualifications (in date), including:
  • Cookers
  • Fires
• G3 (Unvented) qualification
• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
• Experience with Vaillant and Worcester Bosch boilers
• Willingness to participate in on-call rota (minimum 6 days per month)

Desirable:

• LPG / Oil qualifications

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
• On-call rota required (including occasional weekends)
• Optional overtime available

Salary & Benefits

• Hourly rate from £16.50 (dependent on experience)
• Realistic OTE of £40,000 – £45,000 (including call-out and overtime)
• Company van and fuel card providedPaid travel (furthest distance covered)
• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays, pro rata)
• Optional overtime (not compulsory)
