Head of Partner Marketing

Position Overview

The Head of Partner Marketing is responsible for defining and delivering Advania UKI’s partner marketing strategy, with a primary focus on Microsoft and other strategic technology partners.

The successful candidate will set direction, lead the function, and personally execute high‑impact partner marketing activity, from joint planning and campaign design through to hands‑on delivery, optimisation, and measurement.

The role leads and develops the partner marketing capability while remaining deeply embedded in day‑to‑day execution with partners, sales teams, and marketing colleagues.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the role works closely with Partner, Sales, Sector, and Group teams, as well as Microsoft and other partner marketing counterparts.

What Success Looks Like

  • Partner marketing strategy translated into visible, measurable execution
  • Strong Microsoft and partner relationships built on delivery, not plans
  • Clear partner‑led differentiation in market
  • Partner marketing recognised as a material contributor to pipeline and growth

Salary & Benefits

The budgeted salary for this role is between £80,000 – £90,000 a year, depending on experience.

Hybrid working

We recognise the benefits that remote and flexible working brings.

We operate a hybrid working policy that allows our employees to balance time in the office and time from home. Each team within our organisation can decide how to implement this policy.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end‑to‑end partner marketing strategy across all business units and personally drive execution
  • Translate strategy into hands‑on GTM plans, campaigns, and partner activity
  • Stay actively involved in key initiatives rather than operating purely through delegation
  • Balance long‑term planning with pace, pragmatism, and delivery
  • Lead joint marketing planning with Microsoft and other priority partners
  • Personally shape and deliver partner GTM motions including propositions, campaigns, launches, and events
  • Build a practical, scalable operating rhythm across planning, delivery, reporting, and optimisation
  • Act as senior escalation point while modelling a hands‑on, outcomes‑focused approach
  • Act as the senior marketing interface to Microsoft and strategic partners in UKI
  • Build trusted, working relationships with partner marketing and alliance leads
  • Define and track partner marketing success across pipeline influence, revenue contribution, campaign performance, and partner engagement
  • Make performance visible and actionable for marketing, sales, and partners

Qualifications & Experience

The right candidate for this role will have:

  • Senior partner marketing experience within B2B technology or IT services
  • Strong experience operating within the Microsoft and other Tier 1 partner ecosystem
  • Proven track record of hands‑on execution as well as strategic leadership
  • Demonstrable people management experience, including managing senior roles
  • Commercial mindset with clear understanding of sales motions and partner economics
  • Comfortable operating at pace in a matrixed, growth‑oriented organisation
  • Experience across UK and Ireland markets

Desirable

  • Experience across multi‑partner ecosystems (ISVs, hyperscalers)
  • Experience supporting growth, transformation, or M&A environments

We are committed to ensuring an equitable experience for all candidates, regardless of race, religion or belief, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other basis as protected by applicable law.

Please do let us know if you’ll need any reasonable adjustments as part of the selection process by highlighting these on your application form.
