Software/Data Engineer – Quant Hedge Fund – £250k+

A $25BN AUM statarb/HFT equities focused hedge fund client is scaling their front office facing data team to support incoming portfolio manager/researcher hires.

This Data/Software Engineer will be working on data ingestion, data management, application development and the extension of their state of the art research data platform. As well as working on ad hoc projects for the front office to help them use data correctly and augment their investment process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data ingestion and management
2. Application development
3. Extension of the research data platform
4. Support front office with data-related projects

Qualifications:

1. 1-5 years of experience
2. Excellent STEM degree
3. Strong competency in data engineering and software engineering
4. Strong Python skills are a MUST
