About the Position

We are seeking a Head of Maths to join The Eaglewood School Trust, part of Bourne Education Trust.

Position: Head of Maths

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Teachers Main to Upper Pay Scale (National) M1 to UPS3 plus TLR2a (£3,526) plus SEN1 (£2,787)

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellent standards of teaching & learning across the subject.
  • Take responsibility for the strategic overview of the department, including self‑evaluation and the improvement plan for the department.
  • Monitor student progress and implement strategic intervention for the department.
  • Develop the curriculum, schemes of work and assessment across all key stages.
  • Demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children.
  • Evidence of effective continuous professional development.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Evidence of effective continuous professional development.
