Lloyd’s start-up Syndicate is looking for an experienced capital modelling actuary to lead the capital function. This is a complete greenfield opportunity to shape and build out the capital function as the syndicate looks to grow and gain managing agency status.
About the Role
Ideally you will be familiar with Lloyds capital reporting and have IMAP experience. The position will report into the Chief Actuary. This is a fantastic opportunity for a capital actuary who is keen to build and shape the function from the outset.
Responsibilities
- Lead the capital function.
- Shape and build out the capital function.
- Report into the Chief Actuary.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with Lloyds capital reporting.
- IMAP experience.
- Qualified FIA or Qualified by experience
Required Skills
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a start-up environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
Pay range and compensation package £170K + bonus + shares (TBA)
