Job Description:

Job Description We are looking for a visible and credible leader who can provide direction and support to Security, Car Parking, and the newly formed Security Wellbeing Team. The post holder will play a critical role in managing environments where violence, aggression, and behavioural risk are present, ensuring staff, patients, and the public are protected while service quality, safety, and financial efficiency are consistently achieved. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day delivery of Security and Car Parking services, ensuring legislative, operational, and financial compliance. Provide visible leadership to Security, Car Parking, and Security Wellbeing Teams, promoting safe, professional, and resilient working practices. Plan and manage staffing and resources to meet fluctuating demand, including increased violence and aggression risk. Recruit, develop, and retain operatives and supervisors, ensuring effective induction, training, and mandatory conflict management compliance. Manage performance, absence, disciplinary, grievance, and wellbeing processes fairly and consistently. Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement in quality, safety, and efficiency. Manage budgets and resources, identifying efficiencies while maintaining service integrity. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, Trust colleagues, subcontractors, and service users through regular, transparent communication. Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Management or supervisory experience in healthcare or similarly complex operational environments. Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, including supervisors and frontline operatives. Proven experience working in environments with violence, aggression, or safeguarding risks. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience contributing to performance management and service improvement. Budget management experience with strong financial awareness. Calm, effective decision-making skills in high-pressure situations. Willingness to work within ISS Healthcare policies and complete all mandatory training.
