Location: Newbury (with regular travel to Berkshire and South Oxfordshire, and home working)

Salary: Strong basic salary

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are proudly working with our long‑standing people‑focused client looking for a forward‑thinking and relationship‑driven Senior HR Business Partner to join their growing team.

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will lead and manage the full HR lifecycle across a range of clients while providing trusted and strategic HR advice. You will work closely with business leaders to shape HR strategy, guide key decisions and ensure clients receive tailored, commercially focused support that builds long‑term relationships and delivers genuine value.

The successful candidate will be confident managing complex employee relations matters, advising on sensitive issues and leading HR transformation and change.

Responsibilities

You will support senior leaders, shape HR strategy, manage HR lifecycle, lead employee relations, drive change, and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven senior HR leadership experience (HR Business Partner or Senior HR Consultant)
  • Current CIPD qualification or working towards one
  • Confidence managing the full HR lifecycle and handling complex employee relation cases
  • Strategic mindset with strong ability to build, maintain and influence client relationships
  • Commercial awareness and desire to contribute to business growth and success
  • Excellent understanding of UK employment law, HR best practice and compliance
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle to travel to client sites
