Are you ready to step into a high‑impact leadership role at the heart of growth, regeneration and city shaping? You’ll lead a team of commercial finance professionals and sit at the centre of ambitious regeneration, housing and infrastructure programmes where finance genuinely drives change, not just reports on it.

This is a pivotal opportunity to use your commercial mindset, capital expertise and leadership skills to enable sustainable growth and maximise value from public and private investment. If you thrive in complex environments, enjoy partnering at senior level and want your work to visibly transform a city, this role delivers.

  • Capital programme oversight including business cases, investment appraisals and funding strategies
  • Commercial insight on land, property and development opportunities
  • Senior partnering & influence with directors, members and external partners
  • Team leadership & governance, ensuring strong control, risk management and value for money

Your previous experience as Strategic Finance Business Partner – Growth & City Development

  • Senior finance leadership experience in a complex organisation
  • Proven capital & regeneration finance background with large‑scale programmes
  • Expert business case development and investment appraisal skills
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder management

This role offers pace, visibility and influence. You’ll be trusted to shape financial strategy, deputise for the Director of Finance when required, and play a defining role in delivering inclusive and sustainable growth outcomes. With a hybrid working pattern and a competitive day rate, it’s an ideal contract for an experienced finance leader looking for challenge and purpose.

Our clients are committed to building a diverse workforce and recruiting on merit. All reasonable adjustments will be fully supported throughout the application and hiring process.
