Job Description:

Fidarsi is partnering with an established wealth manager who are seeking a highly capable Project Manager to lead and support the delivery of complex programmes, ensuring strong governance, effective execution, and alignment with strategic objectives. This role spans programme management, hands‑on delivery, and PMO leadership, requiring a balance of strategic oversight and operational control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale programmes and projects, from initiation through to closure
  • Define and manage scope, timelines, budgets, and resources across multiple workstreams
  • Ensure alignment of programme outcomes with organisational strategy and business objectives
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across the portfolio

Delivery Leadership

  • Drive execution of complex change initiatives, ensuring milestones and benefits are realised
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including technology, operations, risk, and business units
  • Provide clear direction and leadership to delivery teams, fostering accountability and high performance
  • Ensure consistent delivery methodologies and best practices are applied

PMO & Governance

  • Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks, reporting, and controls
  • Produce high‑quality reporting for senior stakeholders, including progress, risks, and financials
  • Support portfolio prioritisation, resource planning, and capacity management
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insight and challenge where needed
  • Facilitate decision‑making through clear communication and structured reporting

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience delivering complex programmes in fast‑paced environments
  • Strong knowledge of programme governance, PMO frameworks, and delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at senior levels
  • Experience managing budgets, financial tracking, and benefits realisation
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity

Preferred Background

  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments
  • Exposure to strategic transformation, digital, or regulatory change initiatives
