Relief Assistant Charity Shop Manager

We have a role of Charity Shop Assistant Manage Relief to work in a small team within the charity shop of our Cambridge Heath Corps. This role is to work on a relief basis to provide cover for staff holidays, sickness and training days. This involves working with volunteers, shop sorting, displaying stock, serving customers and till work., The post-holder will be responsible for undertaking daily operations for the shop including stock management, housekeeping, security and accounting of cash, health and safety issues and working with our volunteers. You will be a key holder, opening and closing the shop. Training will be provided.

• Have proven interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a charity shop/retail environment
• Able to work on their own initiative and in a team
• Enjoy working with people
• Has basic proficiency in Maths and English
• Be committed to the values, aims and ethos of The Salvation Army
