About the Company

I’m working with a food manufacturer in Cambridgeshire who is looking for a new Supply Chain Manager across 2 sites. It’s a great opportunity for you to make an influence on a huge company and manage a small team.

About the Role

Your role will be to oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and high service levels across all areas.

Responsibilities

• Leading Customer Service and administrative functions
• Partnering with the commercial team to understand and deliver against customer requirements
• Developing and aligning production plans to meet demand
• Managing third-party warehousing and distribution partners
• Overseeing transport and shipping operations
• Procuring third-party products to support business needs
• Maintaining accurate inventory control and stock management
• Driving continuous improvement across systems, processes, and data accuracy
• Collaborating cross-functionally as part of the S&OP process
• Monitoring and improving overall service levels

Required Skills

• Managing teams – proven people management skill and team development
• Able to manage and prioritise workload
• Supply chain management experience within a food manufacturing environment
• Experience working with 3rd party logistics and warehousing suppliers
• Experience in ERP systems
• Experienced in inventory management and forecasting
