Salary: Grade 8, £36,363 – £40,777 per annum.


37 hours per week


Temporary for 2 years from start date


About the role


Join our Digital Transformation Team and help improve council services through technology. This role is business analysis-focused, working with services to understand current processes (“as is”), define future ways of working (“to be”), and translate needs into clear, structured requirements. You’ll facilitate workshops, model processes, support system design and procurement, manage user testing, and track benefits realisation.


This is not a data analysis role; the emphasis is on service, process, and requirements analysis. Ideal for a proactive analyst passionate about digital change.


Qualifications and Experience



  • Practicing business analyst with strong experience in digital transformation, business, and systems analysis.

  • Experience in understanding and documenting as‑is and to‑be processes, translating analysis into clear, actionable requirements and designs.

  • Comfortable working in agile environments and applying service design principles.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and structured documentation.

  • Collaborative, analytical, and quality‑driven with a commitment to inclusive, customer‑focused public services.
