Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer (Commercial Installation)

Location: Office is based in Crawley, but the engineer will be working in the South East. Mainly in these areas:

• Crawley
• Kent
• Hampshire
• Reading
• Welwyn garden city

Salary: £30,000 – £48,000 (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team. The role primarily involves the installation of commercial air conditioning systems across a variety of sites. In addition to air conditioning work, there may be occasions where you will be required to assist with refrigeration installations, so a flexible and hands‑on approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of commercial air conditioning systems (split, multi-split, VRV/VRF systems)
• Commisioning of AC systems
• Assisting with refrigeration system installations when required
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health & safety regulations
• Working independently or as part of a team on-site
• Liaising with project managers, clients, and other trades where necessary

Requirements

• Proven experience in air conditioning installation (commercial projects preferred)
• Basic knowledge or experience in refrigeration systems (desirable)
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent preferred or time served)
• F‑Gas certification
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work flexibly and travel to various job sites

Working Hours

• 10‑hour day (includes travel time)
