Job Overview
This is a field-based Business Development Manager role focused on selling electronic security solutions into installers, integrators and security contractors. Reporting into senior leadership, the position is responsible for developing an existing customer base while actively winning new business across a defined territory. Success in this role is measured by revenue growth, account expansion and the ability to build long-term commercial relationships. This role can be based anywhere in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of security installers and system integrators
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the CCTV and access control market
- Promote a range of electronic security products including surveillance, access systems and related technologies
- Drive product adoption and increase spend across existing accounts
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and technical buyers
- Deliver against sales targets, revenue growth and margin objectives
- Conduct client meetings, site visits and product demonstrations
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and new opportunities within the security sector
Person Specification
- Proven experience in a Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager or Field Sales role
- Background in electronic security, CCTV, access control or related technical products
- Experience selling into installers, integrators or security contractors
- Strong understanding of the security distribution or manufacturing landscape
- Commercially driven with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to manage a territory and work autonomously in a field-based role
- Full UK driving licence
