The Role

The Fund Accountant will report to senior finance leadership and oversee external administrators, with responsibility for partner-related investment and incentive structures.

Experience of GPC and CI entities is strongly advantageous for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain relevant entities within the fund structure, in particular GPC and CI entities
  • Coordinate preparation of periodic investor reports, including financial statements and supporting details
  • Review financial information prepared by third-party administrators
  • Manage capital activity, including contributions and distributions
  • Maintain records of investor allocations of GPC and Ci holders
  • Oversee incentive-related structures and distributions
  • Respond to investor queries
  • Liaise with external advisers on tax and regulatory matters across jurisdictions
  • Coordinate with internal finance teams on intercompany balances
  • Support preparation of annual financial statements under relevant standards
  • Liaise with auditors
  • Assist with budgeting and cash flow forecasting

Key Attributes

  • Qualified accountant with relevant experience
  • Background in private markets or similar environments
  • Experience with partner-related investment structures preferred
  • Ability to handle sensitive information
  • Familiarity with fund administrators
  • Strong systems and technical skills
