Health and Safety Manager
Blackburn, Castleford – Permanent
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000
Responsibilities
- Provide health and safety leadership across multiple sites.
- Write risk assessments and method statements and approve construction phase plans.
- Conduct site audits and oversee corrective actions.
- Lead incident response, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Deliver health and safety inductions and training.
- Support internal audits to maintain ISO 9001 compliance.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
- Previous experience of auditing to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- A background in a similar role, ideally gained in construction, facilities management, engineering or equivalent environment and across multiple sites.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and make changes.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to meet the needs of the business.
