About the Team

The Global Information Security team is responsible for driving the development, deployment and management of information and Cyber Security across Computershare businesses globally. Through partnerships with business units, Technology Services and other support functions, the team actively supports business objectives while reducing overall composite risk to Computershare.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support a wide range of functions from third-party cyber risk management, risk & compliance, policies and standards and security behaviour and culture, specializing in a core discipline while supporting wider security initiatives as per business needs.
  • Work closely with security operations teams, procurement, risk management and wider technology stakeholders across EMEA, Oceania and North America.
  • Oversee and coordinate audits (internal & external), control assurance assessments, risk management activities, regulatory compliance activities, third-party due diligence requests and other global initiatives.
  • Build and manage effective working relationships with other support and governance functions as necessary (risk, audit, compliance, legal, people, procurement and appropriate business lines).

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and input into the annual strategy and roadmap.
  • Oversee the delivery of core outsourced services.
  • Provide management reporting for designated controls/services.
  • Deliver against roadmap items and coordinate activities amongst the team.
  • Coordinate and track service/process maturity in areas of responsibility.
  • Support and mentor junior staff.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Evidenced experience in information security or relevant technical IT functions.
  • CISSP, CISM, CRISC or similar.
  • A strong understanding of security principles in OWASP, NIST, and ISO27000.
  • Creative thinker when approaching new and unusual problems.
