The Role
As a Project Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of our construction projects while working under the guidance of a supportive and experienced commercial team. This role is ideal for a Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career, building confidence, autonomy and exposure to higher‑value projects.
Previous high‑end residential experience is not essential; however, a strong interest in quality‑focused construction and a desire to develop within a premium environment is key.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the commercial management of the project
- Assist with cost control, forecasting and preparation of cost reports and CVRs
- Manage subcontractor accounts, including valuations, payment notices and record‑keeping
- Support procurement activities, including issuing enquiries, tender analysis and appointments
- Assist with the management of variations, change events and commercial reporting
- Work closely with site teams and senior surveyors to understand construction progress and cost drivers
- Maintain accurate commercial records to support financial reporting and final accounts
- Attend project meetings and develop effective working relationships with the supply chain
About You
- 2–3 years’ experience working in a Quantity Surveying role within construction
- Experience working for a main contractor or subcontractor
- A strong willingness to learn and develop within a supportive commercial team
- Good numerical, organisational and analytical skills
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with site and office teams
- A genuine interest in progressing into higher‑value and more complex projects
- Competency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- A professional attitude, attention to detail and pride in quality delivery
