Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

They require self-employed heating engineers for an ongoing contract with a local housing association.

Contract Details

Location: CoventryContract: Housing AssociationWork Type: Landlord Gas Safety Checks and Central Heating RepairsCommitment: Minimum 3 days per weekContract Length: OngoingPayment terms: Weekly one week in arrears.

Rates

• £23.48 per Landlord Gas Safety Record
• £30.44 per repair (parts provided)
• Plus winter incentive of £40.00 per day if engineer commits to 5 days per week (additional £200.00 per week) effective until end of February 2026

Requirements

• 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
• ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)
• Side Van (plain or sign written)
• Gas Safe Registration
• Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser£2m Public Liability Insurance
• No unspent criminal convictions
