Help power Britain’s smarter, greener future.
At Smart DCC, we’re at the heart of the UK’s smart energy ecosystem—connecting homes, businesses and industry to enable a smarter, more sustainable future. As we continue our journey through a critical period of transformation, we’re looking for a hands‑on Talent Acquisition Partner to help us attract the people who will shape what’s next.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced TA professional who enjoys owning end‑to‑end recruitment, partnering closely with stakeholders, and driving high‑quality delivery in a fast‑paced environment.
How you’ll make an impact
As our Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll play a key role in keeping our recruitment function running smoothly while senior leaders focus on strategic priorities. You’ll:
- Own and deliver business‑as‑usual recruitment activity, partnering with hiring managers across the organisation
- Act as the day‑to‑day operational lead for our RPO partner, resolving delivery issues and driving continuous improvement
- Provide expert recruitment advice, including job design, assessment approaches, interview packs and best practice hiring
- Ensure fair, consistent and high‑quality selection using structured assessment and evidence‑based decision making
- Support the rollout of a new skills database, working with Learning & Development and external partners to embed a skills‑first approach
What you’ll bring
We don’t mind where you gained your experience—what matters is confidence, capability and impact. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in a Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Partner role, managing end‑to‑end hiring
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge, advise and influence
- Experience working with RPO or external recruitment suppliers
- A structured, organised approach with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- A passion for fair, inclusive and high‑quality recruitment
Experience with talent management or skills‑based workforce approaches is a plus, but not essential.
What we offer
- Competitive salary with regular benchmarking
- Bonus linked to personal and company performance
- Hybrid working – 8 days per month in the office
- Generous holiday allowance
- Pension and private healthcare
- Flexible benefits you can tailor to your needs
- Ongoing development, learning and exposure to senior stakeholders
This is meaningful work, with meaningful reward.
