Senior Quality Engineer / Coach and Mentor

We are seeking an experienced hands on Quality professional to work alongside the current Quality Manager to support them during a period of operational and process development.

Paying £300 to £400 per day (6 month to 12 month contract)

This role is focused on:

• Providing practical support and guidance
• Sharing experience from similar manufacturing environments
• Strengthening process control and problem-solving approaches
• Supporting the development of existing team and systems

The experience that we are looking for the Senior Quality Engineer / Coach and Mentor

• Strong background in manufacturing quality (10+ years)
• Experience in:
  • Aerospace, OEM or high-spec industries
  • AS9100 / ISO9001 environments
• Hands‑on experience in:
  • Root cause analysis and process improvement (8D)

Based in Stone, Staffordshire

Desirable skills for Senior Quality Engineer / Coach and Mentor

• Background in:
  • Metallurgy or materials engineering
  • Powder metallurgy / sintering processes
• Experience within:
  • CNC machining environments
• Familiarity with:
  • NDT and inspection techniques

• Working with the current Quality Manager on supporting current and process development
• Based in Stone, Staffordshire
• Ideally looking for someone with 10 years plus Quality Experience to help coach and mentor
• Stronger, more consistent process control across production
• Improved confidence and capability within the Quality function
• Robust and repeatable problem-solving approach embedded
• Clearer linkage between process, material and final quality
