We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Application Development Manager to join our Trustee & Depositary (T&D) Engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high quality, scalable software applications across the full software development lifecycle in a modern agile POD setup
  • Build and enhance Java based, containerized microservices and contribute to cloud‑ready application architectures supporting T&D Modernisation
  • Analyse, modify, and optimize existing applications to meet evolving business, regulatory, and technical requirements
  • Apply agile engineering practices, including CI/CD, test automation, code reviews, and AI assisted development, to improve delivery quality and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Hands‑on experience in Java based application development within an enterprise environment
  • Exposure to containerised microservices, modern build pipelines, and relational databases (Oracle preferred), with understanding of the full software development lifecycle
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) with a strong focus on code quality, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • An AI‑first mindset with a passion for modern engineering practices, continuous improvement, and automation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective work across cross‑functional teams
