About The Role
The Manager, Market Activation – Live & Custom (EMEA) will play a critical role in shaping and scaling the commercial frameworks that power Live and Custom partnerships across the EMEA region. This role sits at the center of the Ads ecosystem, responsible for translating global monetization strategy into scalable, locally relevant commercial models that support the EMEA Sales and Brand Partnership teams.
Scope Includes
- Regional Live sports and entertainment opportunities
- Custom partnerships leveraging the Netflix ecosystem
- Ongoing evaluation and optimization of future Live and Custom opportunities as new products, IP, and solutions become available
Key Responsibilities
- Develop monetization frameworks and pricing for Live and Custom programs, grounded in Netflix’s commercial principles and informed by key considerations including policy, measurement, and product innovation.
- Translate global Ads strategy into EMEA-ready commercial models.
- Partner with Sales, Market Planning & Operations, Brand Partnerships, Content, Product, Finance & Strategy, Legal, Policy, Measurement, and Research to ensure go‑to‑market readiness.
- Advance and enable Live solutions with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver scalable and diverse opportunities to partners that result in meaningful revenue to Netflix.
- Develop and advocate for high‑impact solutions that deliver against client business objectives while maximizing value for Netflix.
- Lead and support flawless launch execution for Live events as well as tentpole and priority titles.
About You
- Experience: 7+ years in monetization strategy, sponsorship, integrated marketing, Live event commercialization, or sales strategy.
- Cross‑Platform: Comprehensive knowledge of both the traditional linear and evolving streaming/digital video space in addition to social, audio, event, and gaming.
- Regional Focus: Proven expertise within the EMEA region with a strong knowledge of the EMEA advertising and sponsorship landscape; high level global sponsorship marketplace knowledge is a plus.
- Client Insights: Understanding of how clients and agencies value and negotiate Live and Marketing opportunities to inform Marketing and Sales initiatives.
- Adaptability: Thrive in ambiguity and demonstrate a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach while collaborating cross‑functionally to navigate evolving challenges and opportunities.
- Curiosity: A deep sense of curiosity, with a passion for learning and exploring innovative advertising models and strategies.
