Overview
You will be a highly motivated professional, with excellent communication skills, initiative and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. We are looking for an enthusiastic Sonographer with a desire to learn and develop both professionally and personally to benefit our patients, our service and our team.
Responsibilities
- Provide a caring, compassionate approach within our high quality imaging team.
- Work independently and be qualified in general, obstetric & gynaecological ultrasound.
- Participate in regular ultrasound meetings and audit.
- Assist in the day‑to‑day organisation of the clinical workload across all sites and review services to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Interact well with staff and patients at all levels.
Work Hours
Contracted hours of work to be agreed between 8.00am to 8.00pm, 7 days a week, working across all NWAFT sites, including a CDC facility.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (DMU) or equivalent CASE accredited PgC/PgD, registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and/or other professional body.
- Willingness to undertake Continual Professional Development (CPD).
