We’re partnered with a leading Fintech / Financial Services organisation that’s scaling rapidly and looking for a hands‑on AP professional to take ownership of their end‑to‑end Accounts Payable function.
This is a great opportunity to join a global, tech‑driven company that values efficiency, automation, and smart ways of working. You’ll manage a small team (2 direct reports) and have the autonomy to make real improvements across systems and processes.
Birmingham (Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office)
Up to £45,000 + Annual Bonus + Benefits
What you’ll be doing
- Managing the full Accounts Payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Leading and developing two direct reports
- Driving process improvements and automation initiatives
- Overseeing month‑end close and reporting for AP
- Partnering with key stakeholders across finance and operations
- Supporting wider finance transformation and systems projects
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years’ experience as an Accounts Payable Manager or AP Supervisor
- NetSuite experience is essential
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements and automation
- Experience managing and developing team members
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
