Job Role – Interim Logistics Project Manager / Head of Logistics (3-Month FTC)
Location: Greater London (Hybrid, 3 days in office)
Salary: Up to £65,000 – 85,000 pro rata for the 3 months

Pod Talent is partnering on a confidential basis with a fast-growing, internationally expanding business to recruit an Interim Senior Logistics Manager / Head of Logistics on a 3-month fixed-term contract.
This is a high-impact, delivery-focused role, leading a critical phase of warehousing tenders across the UK and Europe. You will take ownership of the 3PL landscape, driving partner selection, commercial negotiations, and implementation planning to support ongoing growth and optimisation.
This role would suit someone who can hit the ground running, with strong experience in 3PL tendering, warehousing strategy, and supplier negotiations, and who is comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on.
Key Responsibilities for the position of Interim Head of Logistics / Logistics Project Manager
- Lead end-to-end 3PL warehousing tenders across the UK and Europe, including RFP design, evaluation, and selection
- Manage commercial negotiations with logistics providers to secure optimal cost and service outcomes
- Oversee onboarding and transition planning, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption
- Act as the senior point of contact for warehousing partners and logistics providers
- Review and optimise the current logistics network, cost-to-serve, and service performance
- Define and track KPIs, ensuring strong SLA performance across partners
- Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align logistics with business needs
Candidate Profile for the position of Interim Head of Logistics / Logistics Project Manager
- Proven experience leading 3PL tenders and warehousing transitions (UK & Europe essential)
- Strong background in logistics procurement, supplier negotiation, and commercial delivery
- Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth or transformation environments
- Able to quickly assess, design, and implement practical logistics solutions
- Hands-on, delivery-focused, and comfortable working at pace
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
