Job Title: Data Migration Lead
Pay rate: £800 per day
Clearance required: DV Cleared / clearable – preferably starting with at least SC + UK national
Location: Reading 4 days per week
IR35 Status: PAYE via Umbrella company only
Job Description: Data Migration Lead for a secure project, legacy to SAP S/4HANA using Data Services & Migration Cockpit, must have previous experience and deep understanding of the data migration life cycle and full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Managing a development team, planning, defect resolution, ability to communicate about data and SAP to all levels of understanding.
- Experience running data workshops, preparing and reviewing technical documentation, analysing source datasets.
- Lead and mentor the team and suggest solutions based on development experience; help out if needed.
- Work closely with SAP functional teams and business data stewards advising them on data cleansing and data analysis issues.
- On-site work 4 days a week is non negotiable.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the data migration life cycle and full project lifecycle.
- Experience with SAP data migration tools (Data Services & Migration Cockpit).
- Ability to communicate about data and SAP to all levels.
- Experience mentoring teams and contributing hands-on when needed.
