Our Location & Office Culture

Our offices are located in Canary Wharf / South Quay in London’s Docklands, with excellent access via the DLR and Underground.

The office is based in One Canada Square. Our primary datacenter is located in Telehouse South, with a secondary backup location at Virtus in Slough.

The Role

We are looking for a highly capable Infrastructure Engineer or Senior Infrastructure Engineer with strong enterprise infrastructure experience across Windows and Linux environments.

You will work within a highly technical operations team responsible for maintaining and evolving large virtualised platforms that host business‑critical software environments for our clients.

Our infrastructure currently runs a large VMware estate, with ongoing projects to expand and migrate workloads to Hyper‑V and Proxmox environments.

The role will involve a mixture of platform operations, troubleshooting, and infrastructure projects including virtualization migrations, platform upgrades and service improvements.

Experience with large Remote Desktop / RDS environments is highly desirable.

Ideal Applicant

A highly skilled infrastructure engineer who:

  • Is comfortable working across both Windows and Linux systems
  • Has experience with multiple hypervisors
  • Can take ownership of critical systems and services
  • Is proactive and happy to suggest improvements
  • Works well within a collaborative engineering team
  • Communicates clearly and professionally

We are looking for someone who enjoys working on high‑performance data centre infrastructure and large scale environments.

Experience Requirements

We operate across compute, storage, networking, backup and virtualization platforms. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in several of the following areas:

Core Infrastructure

  • Minimum 6+ years experience in enterprise infrastructure environments
  • Strong Windows Server administration
  • Active Directory & Group Policy management
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong experience with VMware vSphere
  • Experience with Hyper‑V
  • Experience or exposure to Proxmox a bonus
  • Experience managing large virtualised environments
  • Experience with virtualization migrations is highly desirable

Remote Desktop / Application Delivery

  • Experience supporting large Microsoft RDS environments
  • Understanding of RDS roles and architecture

Storage & Backup

  • SAN technologies
  • Backup platforms such as Veeam

Networking & Security

  • Experience with vendors such as Cisco or Fortinet
  • Firewall and network troubleshooting

Additional Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience supporting DR and replication platforms

Certifications such as VCP, VCAP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, Linux certifications, VMware or Hyper‑V certifications or similar are advantageous but not essential.

Training is provided for engineers looking to expand their skills into new platforms.
