Footasylum is a leading UK‑based retailer specialising in streetwear and sportswear, committed to delivering innovative and trend‑setting products to our customers. We are looking for an International Strategic Account Manager who will focus heavily on wholesale, driving regional plans that deliver multi‑brand, multi‑channel opportunities, using our growth in DACH as a best‑in‑class example.

In this role, you will build a three‑year roadmap as part of the wider function plan and, reporting to the Head of Wholesale, execute it. Your responsibilities include driving profitable growth across identified target markets through the development of wholesale partners, regional distributors, sales agents and key accounts.

The role plays a pivotal part in expanding our brand presence, opening new markets and building long‑term commercial partnerships that align with brand positioning and target consumers.

  • Proven experience in international business development, wholesale or global sales within sportswear, sport or lifestyle/fashion.
  • Strong track record of opening new markets, managing distributors and agents, scaling international wholesale revenue and working across multiple regions (EMEA, APAC, Americas preferred).
  • Strong relationship‑builder across cultures and markets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate and open new international markets aligned to brand strategy and growth priorities.
  • Develop and execute go‑to‑market plans for each region, including channel mix, pricing and distribution strategy.
  • Lead market entry discussions with regional distributors, agents and franchise partners.
  • Own regional sales forecasts, budgets and growth plans.
  • Partner with supply chain & product team to align range depth, inventory planning and order lead times.
  • Track performance versus targets and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure consistent brand presentation across wholesale, distributor showrooms and trade marketing.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to deliver regional activations, launches and brand moments.
  • Protect brand integrity across price, channel and territory management.
  • Act as commercial link between product, marketing, operations and finance.
  • Provide market insights to inform product direction, pricing architecture and range planning.
