HR Advisor (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Southend-On-Sea (with occasional travel across 5 sites)

Are you an HR Advisor who loves rolling up your sleeves and making things happen? My client is on the lookout for a hands-on HR Advisor to join their People team and bring real employment relations expertise to the table.
What you’ll be doing:
- Being the go-to HR advisor for Line Managers – from tricky casework to day-to-day HR support.
- Handling full casework end-to-end, with solid knowledge of employment law.
- Building strong relationships with managers, staff, and unions.
- Acting as a trusted advisor across multiple sites – Head Office in Southend with occasional travel to other campuses.
- Supporting mental health initiatives (being prepared to be a Mental Health First Aider is a plus).
What we’re looking for:
- CIPD Level 5
- Proven experience managing full ER casework in a public sector environment
- Comfortable working with unions and staff at all levels
- Valid enhanced DBS would be highly desirable
- A proactive, “can-do” attitude – someone who can crack on and get things done
