BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE This role is on-site with applicants expected in the office a minimum of 4 days / week. We won’t be considering visa applications for this role. BirdsEyeView builds Natural Catastrophe Modelling & Exposure Management software for reinsurance and insurers globally. The software enables specialty insurers to model future floods, wildfires, tropical cyclones, and more.
The BirdsEyeView technology ecosystem includes a massive climate data infrastructure, scalable product development, and machine learning data cleansing and ingestion. By combining all these factors, BirdsEyeView helps underwriters assess their exposures to growing climate-change-induced natural catastrophes.
You will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our Natural Catastrophe Modelling, Exposure Management and AI Schedule Ingestion software within the Lloyd’s insurance market, and in the Australian, US, Canadian, and European MGA market. You will leverage your extensive industry experience and network of contacts, leading our efforts to identify new sales leads, and establish valuable partnerships Your deep understanding of the Lloyds insurance and reinsurance sectors will be instrumental in shaping our market strategy and optimizing our outreach efforts. You’ll be joining a growing team of scientists, software developers and insurance experts and will have a unique opportunity to impact many levels of the firm, such as business applications and product development.

Utilize your well-established network of contacts within the insurance industry to identify and cultivate new sales leads. Partnership Development: Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans to increase brand awareness and product adoption within the target market.
